We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). The successful candidate will provide administrative support for our Regional Programs department, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.

Job DescriptionThis Administrative Assistant position plays a vital role in supporting the team's activities, including:
- Transcribing medical dictation, preparing documents and reports according to established protocols and deadlines;
- Providing reception services, handling inquiries, relaying messages and redirecting callers to appropriate personnel;
- Maintaining client charts, performing duties such as receiving documentation, creating clinical records and ensuring completeness and accuracy;
- Scheduling appointments, tracking events and monitoring deadlines;
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education, plus completion of a medical transcription program and one year of recent experience;
- Ability to type at 60 wpm;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software systems.
