Job Summary

The Client Partner, Respectful Workplace supports managers and leaders in their investigation and resolution of respectful workplace complaints. This role works with key stakeholders to navigate the dynamics of respectful workplace complaints and promotes a culture of respect and inclusivity within Fraser Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provides advice and resources to leaders and clients on respectful workplace investigations and dispute resolution processes.
  • Drafts correspondence, strategizes employer position, and prepares for meetings with employees, union representatives, and legal counsel.
  • Liaises with internal and external stakeholders to develop a consultative approach to mutual problem-solving.
  • Identifies management education needs regarding respectful workplace issues and assists with developing and presenting related educational programs.
  • Maintains records and reports concerns and recommendations to leaders and Human Resource staff.
  • Partners with leaders and client partners to increase accountability and understanding of the leadership role in supporting and promoting a respectful workplace.
  • Remains current in human rights, employment, and other related legislation and health care collective agreements.
  • Participates in contingency plans for legal/illegal work stoppages and conducts essential service planning for assigned departments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in a field related to Human Resource Management or Business.
  • Five years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid BC Driver's Licence and possession of a personal vehicle for business-related purposes.
