About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Michelle Broqueza. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Companionship: Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals to clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Light Exercise: Assist clients with regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical health and well-being.
  • Laundry and Linen: Launder clothing and household linens, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.

Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, to provide care and support. You will be required to work independently, with minimal supervision, and be able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
