About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Comforts of Home - Care Inc. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Household Tasks: Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and other household tasks.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on outings and provide transportation as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications: Vulnerable sector check, Child Abuse Registry check, Adult Abuse Registry check, and a valid driver's license.
