Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at 24/7 Quality Home & Health Care Services Ltd. As a Home Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring their dignity and comfort are maintained at all times.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Therapeutic Diets: Plan and implement therapeutic diets and menus, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal client outcomes.
  • Client Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, promoting their independence and well-being.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess a valid CPR Certificate and a clear Criminal Record Check.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
