Job DescriptionLogistics Sales Executive Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Logistics Sales Executive to join our team at our Calgary office. This role requires a solid sales background in a 3PL environment, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop new business opportunities through current book of business or cold calls into new prospect accounts;
- Generate and follow up on sales leads in a timely manner;
- Assist with carrier portfolio, including developing strong relationships and operational understandings, helping match carrier preferred lanes with freight, and work with carriers as determined by the company.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in 3PL sales, with a proven track record of sales success;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and carriers;
- Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines;
- Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
