Strategic Sales Growth Manager

A dynamic sales leadership role has become available at BDP International, a leading provider of globally integrated supply chain solutions.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Sales Director to lead our sales efforts and drive growth in Ocean, Air, and Overland Freight, as well as Value Add solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for prospecting assigned territories, clients, and leads, as well as assisting in regionalizing sales efforts by increasing local client visits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales plans and business strategies to identify new targets and develop regional and global business volume.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase revenue and freight volume.
- Engage with Account Management, Product Leaders, and Vertical Heads to develop target accounts within assigned regions.
- Maintain customer retention levels through regular communication and support.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience in global sales preferred.
- Minimum 3 years industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge about Ocean Freight, Air Freight or Overland Freight in a Freight Forwarding/Logistics company.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
