Job Summary:

OT Group is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our Technical Team. As part of this role, you'll be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, helping them resolve complex IT issues and ensuring seamless functionality of their computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Support: Engage directly with customers to understand their unique IT requirements and provide tailored support solutions, either remotely or on-site.
  • Network Support: Support complex computer networks and their operating systems, ensuring seamless functionality and troubleshooting issues efficiently.
  • Workstation Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex workstation issues with expertise and efficiency.
  • Network Design: Craft straightforward computer network designs to meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Hardware Placement: Offer strategic guidance on workstation and network hardware placement, optimizing setup for maximum efficiency.
  • Network Maintenance: Configure and maintain network operating systems to sustain peak performance.
  • Communication Networks: Implement appropriate protocols to establish and sustain communication networks tailored to our clients' specifications.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise: Detailed experience with Windows operating system and strong experience with networks.
  • Certifications: Microsoft, Cisco, A+ or Network+ Certifications.
  • Education: An education in IT, ideally with a College Diploma or University Degree.
  • Experience: Experience working in an IT support environment (minimum 2 years).
  • Communication Skills: A strong communicator, both verbally and written.
  • Problem-Solving: Someone who sees problem-solving as an opportunity, willing to learn and grow.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to our customer locations to provide IT support (a valid G License and vehicle are required).
