About the Role

OT Group is seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our Technical Team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our customers, assisting them with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and learning and growing with new IT challenges each day.

This is an in-office role at our location, and daily commuting to the office is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing timely and effective technical support via various channels.
  • Respond to service requests and issues in a prompt and professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using industry-standard tools and procedures, following established protocols and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records of all ticket events in our helpdesk system, ensuring seamless tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Success Team to tackle complex issues and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as updates and backups, to ensure our IT infrastructure remains stable and secure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, applying this knowledge to improve our services and processes.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux, is essential.
  • Strong understanding of basic networking concepts and protocols.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Education in IT, preferably with a College Diploma or University Degree.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and grow.
