Job Summary

This role is responsible for normalizing, processing, and verification of data received from various sources. You will follow established processes to ensure quality and upload to the master data management or other related software. Your goal will be to maintain accurate processed data that empowers the Purchasing, Sales, Sourcing, and Pricing teams to achieve their objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will perform data maintenance utilizing automation tools that minimize error and maximize productivity.
  • You will input data received from external sources to ensure accurate and validated data is available for branch associates in decision making and customer service.
  • You may serve as an individual contributor on a data team that could include responsibility for, but not limited to: product file maintenance; cost matrix maintenance; price matrix maintenance; employee and organizational hierarchy; vendor file maintenance; and/or customer file maintenance.
  • You will work with the team to correct discrepancies, correct processes, and implement changes.
Nature and Scope
  • You will refer complex, unusual problems to your supervisor.
  • Under general supervision, you will exercise some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Your work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.

Work Environment
  • You will be located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Most of the time, you will spend sitting in a comfortable position, and there will be frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Education and Experience
  • A high school diploma or GED is strongly preferred. Specialized skills training/certification may be required. Typically, 2-5 years of experience in this area of responsibility are expected.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some experience in the Data Management field is appreciated.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of college (Associate degree) or a University degree (Bachelor's degree) is required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical skills, are essential.
  • Above-average knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office is required.
  • You must be a results-driven person with a strong will to complete tasks accurately and on time.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, starting at approximately $65,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
