Loblaw Digital's E-Commerce team is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences across our digital platforms. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through strategic planning, analysis, and execution.

Reporting to the Director, Strategy and Planning – E-Commerce, you will be responsible for developing and implementing plans to drive sales growth, improve product margins, and optimize promotional spend. You will also be involved in shaping the long-term strategy of the business, focusing on digitally influenced sales across our omni-channels and marketplaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales growth plans to achieve annual sales and margin targets.
  • Own and manage the E-Commerce promotional plan, leveraging promotions to drive sales while optimizing return on investment.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve process efficiencies, drive incremental margin, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our digital platforms through site/web analytics, identifying opportunities to improve customer journeys and conversion rates.
  • Leverage data and analytics to drive customer and merchandising insights, informing strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Manage a team of Senior Analysts, establishing an Analytics & Insights centre of excellence for the E-Commerce business.
  • Develop and execute a 3rd party marketplace strategy, working with external partners to drive growth.
  • Present insights and partner with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, analytics, E-Commerce, or a high-growth technology company, with strong business acumen.
  • 2+ years of experience managing and developing direct reports.
  • Critical thinking skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous problems and develop solutions.
  • Analytical skills, with experience in data visualization tools and programming languages such as Python.
  • Effective communication and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A results-driven mindset, with a focus on driving business growth and improvement.
