NIKE, Inc. is seeking a passionate and driven Senior Merchant to lead assortment planning for our Canadian market. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in consumer insights, retail strategy, and data analysis to shape the product offerings that fuel our success.

As a key member of our merchandising team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including Planning, Marketing, and Marketplace teams, to develop and execute cohesive strategies that drive profitable growth. Your deep understanding of consumer trends and market dynamics will be instrumental in identifying opportunities and translating them into compelling product assortments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop data-driven assortment plans tailored to the Canadian consumer landscape
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives
  • Translate consumer insights and market trends into actionable merchandising recommendations
  • Partner with local Marketplace, Planning, and Marketing teams to ensure successful product launches and maximize sales performance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • 4+ years of experience in merchandising or retail, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting retail metrics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work
