About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at EARLS RESTAURANT PRINCE GEORGE LTD. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
    • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all menu items to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve our high standards of quality and service.
    • Provide guidance and training to ensure that all team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
    • Monitor and control costs to ensure that we are operating within budget.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential hazards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant or culinary establishment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols.
