About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cook to join our team at Bon Voyage Restaurant Ltd. as an Executive Chef. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef.
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers, refugees, youth employment, and Indigenous people.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent position, 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
