About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Nelly's Pub and Pizza. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team and ensuring that our menu items are prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Culinary Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to our kitchen staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to prepare high-quality dishes.
  • Menu Development: Work with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items, ensuring that they are innovative, delicious, and meet the needs of our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and efficient.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that our dishes meet our high standards, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Staff Management: Supervise and train our kitchen staff, providing feedback and coaching to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Skills: Excellent culinary skills, leadership abilities, and communication skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
