Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supporting the recruitment process, ensuring the successful selection and onboarding of top talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the recruitment team and hiring managers to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies.
  • Apply best practices and techniques to meet the demands of high-volume recruiting, ensuring a high level of candidate satisfaction.
  • Participate in job fairs and college recruitment events to attract top talent.
  • Plan and coordinate new employee orientation and training sessions to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Manage new hire surveys and reporting to track employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Support benefits and leave administration programs, including short-term disability, workers' compensation, and personal leaves.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
  • Maintain functional knowledge of provincial legislation and processes to ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • CPHR designation is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
