As a Human Resources Generalist at CB Canada, you will play a key role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding of top talent. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing strategies to meet the demands of high-volume recruiting. You will also participate in job fairs and college recruitment events, plan new employee orientation and training sessions, and manage new hire surveys and reporting. Additionally, you will support benefits and leave administration programs, assist with employee engagement initiatives, and maintain functional knowledge of provincial legislation and processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Support recruiting team and hiring managers to ensure successful selection and onboarding of top talent.

* Apply specific strategies, best practices and techniques to meet the demands of high-volume recruiting.

* Participate in job fairs and college recruitment events and activities.

* Plan and coordinate new employee orientation and training sessions.

* Manage 30-day and 90-day new hire surveys and reporting.

* Support benefits and leave administration programs, including short-term disability, workers' compensation and personal leaves.

* Assist with employee engagement initiatives.

* Keep up to date on and act as a backup for all HR Coordinator responsibilities. Maintain functional knowledge of provincial legislation and processes.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.

* 3+ years Human Resources experience.

* CPHR designation an asset.

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
