About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at SUSHI & TERIYAKI. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Prepare and cook meals, including special requests for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure efficient service
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Availability to work 30 hours per week
