Account Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Executive to join our team at Paladin Technologies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, and expanding our customer base.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute annual sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Pursue new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to ensure Paladin's offerings remain competitive
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data to inform sales strategies
- Accountability: takes ownership and responsibility for quality and timeliness of commitments
- Results Driven: ability to focus on detailed outcomes and the means by which they are achieved
- Levers Collaborative Relationships: cultivating win-win relationships and advancing Paladin's market position
- Business Development: Quick to recognize and act on an opportunity. Knows how to close. Knows how to make a profit
- Masterful in front of the Customer: Goes the extra mile to know and understand the customer's business and their needs
- Progressive outside sales experience in a technical sales environment, ideally from the integrated security, networking/data cabling and/or commercial audio-visual industries
- 3-5 years of experience selling complex integrated solutions involving access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, structured cabling, RTLS, nurse call, PA systems, fence detection, digital signage, corporate AV, or other related systems is preferred
- Experience selling in related industries (IT, Telecommunications, engineering, technology) will be considered
- Experience selling into related sectors including gaming, healthcare, industrial construction, government, education, defense, utilities is considered an asset
- Knowledge of the following technologies is required: IP networks, low voltage electronics, power and communications, Windows XP or 7 workstations, Microsoft Office products
- Experience with the following technologies is an asset: Access Control, CCTV (IP), Intrusion Systems, Client-Servicer security applications, MS SQL databases, Server and Storage Infrastructure
- Post-secondary education; University degree in Business is preferred
- Bilingual (French and English) is considered an asset
