Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department at William Osler Health System. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and obtaining technically diagnostic studies in accordance with established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scanning imaging procedures and invasive techniques as outlined in the protocol/procedure manuals, including administering contrast media, conducting image reconstruction, and operating, troubleshooting, and ensuring medical imaging and ancillary equipment are performing in an effective, safe, and efficient manner.
  • Prepare written documentation of procedures as required.
  • Perform patient assessments and participate in the accurate maintenance of patient records.

Requirements

  • Current registration with the Canadian Medical and Radiation Therapy Technology Board of Examiners (CMRITO).
  • Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
  • Recent experience with contrast CT scanning required.
  • X-ray experience is an asset.
  • Contrast injection certification required.
  • Cross-sectional anatomy courses required.
  • Interventional radiology experience is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Physical ability to perform the expected job duties.
  • Ability to operate required equipment.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, including weekends and statutory holidays.
