Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at North York General Hospital. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing imaging examinations in Computed Tomography, ensuring high-quality images and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform imaging examinations in Computed Tomography, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Operate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to ensure seamless care.
  • Assist the Radiologist as needed, providing support and expertise.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • BCLS certification an asset.
  • Post-graduate experience in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) recommended.
  • Experience in CT and Angiography an asset.
  • Post-graduate courses in CT and Angiography an asset.
  • Must have IV and contrast injection experience an asset.
  • Bilingualism in French/English an asset.
