About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Imaging Technologist to join our team at Sinai Health. As a Computed Tomography (CT) specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of medical imaging procedures, including CT scans, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform CT scans and other medical imaging procedures, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Prepare and maintain patient records, including written and electronic reports.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited degree or post-diploma program in Radiological Technology or a recognized equivalent.
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Level 2 and 3 CT certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced medical imaging environment.
