Sinai Health's Medical Imaging Department is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing leading-edge clinical practice, teaching, and research programs in Radiography. As an international leader in medical imaging, we conduct a high volume of various types of Radiography exams for diverse patient populations, ranging from the Emergency department to Outpatients and Inpatients.

Are You a Dedicated CT Technologist?

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join our dynamic team. If you are a registered technologist with CMRITO, passionate about patient care and technical proficiency, this opportunity is for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform a wide range of medical imaging procedures, including Enterography and Colonography, utilizing shared protocols and collaborating with Radiologists across multiple sites.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and ensure optimal performance of advanced medical imaging equipment and ancillary devices.
  • Prepare comprehensive written and electronic reports documenting all procedures and test results.
  • Actively participate in teaching, educational, research, safety, and quality improvement programs/activities.
  • Contribute to the development of Michener MRT students, enhancing your leadership skills.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited degree/post diploma Radiological Technology program, or recognized equivalent. Consideration for hire may also be given to applicants currently enrolled in an accredited degree/post diploma Radiological Technology program – as a condition of hire the Radiological Technology program must be successfully completed within six (6) months of hire.
  • Certificate of registration in the specialty of Radiography from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
  • Current Registration with College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification.
  • Level 2 and 3 CT (preferred).
  • Membership with the CAMRT (preferred).
