Key Responsibilities:

The CT Imaging Specialist will be accountable for generating high-quality radiographs and computed tomography images, ensuring proper storage and documentation as mandated. Responsibilities include:

  • Executing imaging examinations as per medical staff requests while adhering to established protocols.
  • Assisting Radiologists during procedures while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintaining technical proficiency in accordance with the standards set by the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).

Qualifications:

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for CMRITO licensing. The ideal applicant will possess:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, along with photographic techniques and record-keeping skills essential for the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
  • Proven expertise in utilizing various X-Ray and ancillary equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Capability to perform intravenous insertions and administer CT contrast.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to assess and prioritize imaging requests to ensure timely and exceptional patient care.
  • Flexibility to adapt standard procedures in emergency scenarios.
  • Willingness to work all shifts on short notice and respond to on-call duties promptly.

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation: $45 - $55 per hour, commensurate with experience.
