Job Summary

The University Health Network is seeking an experienced Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team as a Computed Tomography (CT) Specialist. As a key member of our Joint Department of Medical Imaging, you will be responsible for performing CT procedures, general radiography, and digital quality assurance. You will work closely with our team of innovative staff dedicated to patient care and superb image quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT procedures, general radiography, and digital quality assurance
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management personnel
  • Participate in professional development, teaching, and educational activities
  • Mentor and train junior staff members
  • Perform cross-functional/site responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Completion of a two- to three-year college or other approved program in diagnostic radiography or a bachelor of health sciences in radiography
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
