Compensation Advisor

TD Bank is seeking a highly skilled Compensation Advisor to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. As a key member of the Global Total Rewards Group, you will play a critical role in designing and delivering custom rewards solutions that align with strategic business requirements.
**Job Overview**
The Compensation Advisor will be responsible for providing expert advice on compensation design and pay-level opportunities to ensure both attraction and retention of qualified talent. You will work closely with Finance, HR Business Partners, and Business Leaders to develop and maintain a thorough understanding of TD's strategic direction and ensure that business-specific compensation programs are aligned with enterprise-wide compensation principles and objectives.
**Key Accountabilities**

- Monitor and advise on competitive market trends to ensure that compensation design and pay-level opportunities will attract and retain qualified talent;
- Complete and submit variable pay forecasts to our Finance partners;
- Participate in and contribute to the development of tools, workshops, and reference materials that increase capability for making informed Total Rewards decisions;
- Manage the annual compensation cycle for the assigned businesses, including survey submission, end-to-end research and market analysis, and presentation of findings;
- Provide advice and counsel on complex compensation recommendations for new hires or internal moves within businesses - for executives and employees;
- Lead and participate in projects, engaging multiple stakeholders in the flow of information and assignments;
- Participate in the review and design of sales incentive plans for the assigned businesses;
- Provide business-specific, ad hoc, and project-related analysis;
- Participate in broader Global Compensation Advisory projects.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- 4-6 years in a similar compensation-related capacity;
- A Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources/labour relations, mathematics, or economics preferred, or equivalent relevant working experience;
**Salary and Benefits**
The salary for this role is estimated at $76,800-$115,200 CAD per year, depending on qualifications and experience. TD offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including a base salary, variable compensation, and benefits such as health and well-being benefits, savings and retirement programs, paid time off, banking benefits and discounts, career development, and reward and recognition programs.
