Job Title: Sales Consultant
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team at AWIN Group of Dealerships. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles to existing and new customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a positive sales experience.
- Handle incoming sales traffic, including phone calls, internet inquiries, and in-person visits.
- Qualify all prospects and provide them with a personalized sales experience.
- Work closely with the Pre-Owned Sales Manager to arrange trade-in appraisals.
- Liaise between prospects and sales management during negotiations.
- Turn over all sales customers to the finance office.
- Arrange new and pre-owned vehicle deliveries through sales management and the finance office.
- Actively prospect new customers and follow up with past deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with product changes and attend weekly sales meetings.
- Familiarize yourself with all manufacturers' sales, lease, and finance programs.
- Make annual lease maturity contact calls with existing clients.
- Keep apprised of competitive products and review historical performance with management.
- Participate in off-site marketing and advertising initiatives as required.
- Assist in the arrangement of showroom displays as needed.
- Participate in off-site product and skills training programs.
- Closing sales by overcoming objections, negotiating prices, and completing sales or purchase contracts.
- Stay informed about all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
- During the delivery process, escort customers to the customer lounge, Parts Counter, and introduce them to the Service Department, including management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Valid Ontario G Driver's License.
- Clear Driver's Abstract.
- Valid OMVIC registration.
- Strong business acumen.
- Professional appearance.
- Ability to sell the minimum quota according to dealership objectives.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills.
