Becoming a successful Sales Consultant at BMW Toronto requires:

  • Greeting and guiding customers as they arrive on the lot, facilitating a smooth sales process
  • Assisting clients in finding their ideal vehicle by utilizing current inventory information
  • Demonstrating vehicles' features on the lot to enhance the sales experience
  • Aiding customers in completing their sales applications
  • Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, inspecting vehicles daily, and reporting any issues to management

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • High energy levels throughout the sales day
  • An outgoing and friendly demeanor, especially when handling objections
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in-person and over the phone
  • Persuasive abilities to overcome customer objections during the sales process
  • Proficiency in basic business math, including percentages
  • The ability to learn and utilize Microsoft Office, accounting software, and proprietary sales programs
