About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Uptown Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.

Chef Management

Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the demands of our restaurant.

Food Safety and Quality Control

Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety, and that our kitchen is maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.

Inventory Management

Manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.

Staff Training and Development

Provide training and development opportunities to help our kitchen staff improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Work Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role

Language

Fluent in English

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires standing for extended periods
