EP Mapping Specialist II - Louisville, KY

Job Summary:

Boston Scientific is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Specialist to join our team in Louisville, KY. As an EP Mapping Specialist II, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical product and technical assistance and training to physicians, EP Lab Staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe use of the Rhythmia Mapping System during case procedures within an assigned geography.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain advanced clinical knowledge of EP diagnostic and ablation technologies, EP mapping and recording systems, transeptal access technologies, and left atrial appendage occlusion technologies.
  2. Attend procedures in cardiac CV/EP labs of hospital accounts for clinical support and development efforts of BSC AF Solutions products.
  3. Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of AF Solutions products through presentations and demonstrations.
  4. Meet with existing and potential customers to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care and discuss how company products can help them achieve their goals.
  5. Develop relationships with hospital personnel at all levels to make new contacts and identify key decision makers.
  6. Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative solutions or working with related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
  7. Demonstrate effective change leadership and build strategic partnerships to better the area/organization.
  8. Implement and monitor strategies outlined by the quarterly plan of action for the area.
  9. Coordinate territory and other BSC sales management and representatives' efforts to build strategic partnerships.
  10. Develop relationships with key referring physicians and other key physicians to promote market development and growth.
  11. Train on and maintain knowledge of clinical trial protocols and compliance toward the regulations of world-wide regulatory bodies.
  12. Manage clinical trial activity within the assigned territory.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in medical device sales, clinical electrophysiology or equivalent education and experience.
  2. Must demonstrate a technical aptitude and ability to discuss and explain complex technical product information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. NASPE/IBHRE CEPS certification.
  2. Work experience in Atrial Fibrillation/Cardiac Mapping/Structural Heart Procedure.
  3. Existing usage of 3D cardiac mapping system.
  4. MS or advanced degree in business or healthcare.
