Boston Scientific is poised for several major product launches in the U.S. aimed at treating patients with atrial fibrillation (AFib), including innovative therapies such as Cryo, Radiofrequency, and Pulsed Field ablation.

Our current offerings include advanced technologies like 3D Mapping and Navigation systems, Radiofrequency Ablation catheters, Diagnostic Catheters, EP recording systems, and Intracardiac Access Sheaths for diagnosing and managing heart rhythm disorders.

The EP Mapping Specialist will initially focus on mastering Boston Scientific technologies while engaging in extensive professional development to ensure success in this hands-on, field-oriented role.

After completing training, the EP Mapping Specialist will deliver expert clinical product and technical support, along with training to physicians, EP Lab Staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe utilization of the Rhythmia Mapping System during procedures within a designated territory, all while striving to meet and exceed business objectives.

Responsibilities include attending procedures in cardiac CV/EP labs of hospital accounts to provide clinical support and development for BSC AF Solutions products, including the Rhythmia HDx mapping system, LabSystem Pro recording system, transeptal access products, diagnostic and therapeutic catheters, and WATCHMAN LAAC technologies.

The role involves engaging with physicians and hospital personnel to assess their clinical needs and goals related to patient care, while demonstrating and training them on how our products can assist in achieving their objectives.

Building relationships with hospital staff at all levels, including physicians and administrators, is essential to identify key decision-makers and facilitate future sales opportunities.

Addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding products and services by developing innovative and practical solutions is a critical aspect of this role.

The position requires effective change leadership and the ability to cultivate strategic partnerships to enhance the organization by leveraging relationships with peers, management, and across the AF Solutions organization (Marketing, Training, and Strategic Planning).

Additionally, the role involves maintaining knowledge of clinical trial protocols, standard operating procedures, and compliance with regulations set by global regulatory bodies.

Managing clinical trial activities within the assigned territory includes conducting Interest Visits and Site Initiation Visits.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical device sales, clinical electrophysiology, or equivalent education and experience is required.
Candidates must demonstrate technical aptitude and the ability to articulate complex technical product information.
Experience in Atrial Fibrillation/Cardiac Mapping/Structural Heart Procedures is preferred.
Familiarity with 3D cardiac mapping systems is essential.
