Boston Scientific is poised for several critical product launches in the U.S. aimed at treating patients with atrial fibrillation (AFib), including Cryo, Radiofrequency, and Pulsed Field ablation therapies.

Our current offerings include advanced technologies such as 3D Mapping and Navigation systems, Radiofrequency Ablation catheters, Diagnostic Catheters, EP recording systems, and Intracardiac Access Sheaths for diagnosing and managing heart rhythm disorders.

The Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist will spend their initial year developing expertise in Boston Scientific technologies while undergoing extensive professional development to ensure preparedness for success in this hands-on, field-based position.

Upon completion of training, the Clinical Electrophysiology Specialist will deliver expert clinical product and technical support and training to physicians, EP Lab Staff, and sales representatives on the effective and safe utilization of the Rhythmia Mapping System during case procedures within a designated territory, in a manner that drives the achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Participating in procedures within cardiac CV/EP labs of hospital accounts for clinical support and development of BSC AF Solutions products, including the Rhythmia HDx mapping system, LabSystem Pro recording system, transeptal access products, diagnostic and therapeutic catheters, and WATCHMAN LAAC technologies.
  • Engaging with physicians and hospital personnel to identify their clinical needs, objectives, and constraints related to patient care, while demonstrating and training them on how our products can assist in achieving their goals.
  • Building relationships with hospital staff at all levels, including physicians and administrators.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and complaints regarding products and services by devising innovative and practical solutions.
  • Maintaining knowledge of clinical trial protocols, Clinical Department standard operating procedures, and compliance with global regulatory standards.
  • Managing clinical trial activities within the assigned territory, which includes conducting Interest Visits and Site Initiation Visits.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical device sales, clinical electrophysiology, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and the ability to articulate and explain complex technical product information.
  • Experience in Atrial Fibrillation/Cardiac Mapping/Structural Heart Procedures.
  • Familiarity with 3D cardiac mapping systems.
