Regional Sales Director

Gentek, a leading manufacturer and distributor of exterior home improvement products, is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to drive profitable growth in our Central region. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets and managing a team of outside sales representatives.
Job DescriptionAs Regional Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in establishing annual sales plans and targets, leveraging your knowledge of the competitive landscape and industry trends. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, accessing and understanding sales data, and communicating opportunities and challenges with your team and company leaders.
In addition to sales growth, you will focus on operational excellence, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies related to sales processes and activities. You will also lead by example, sharing best practices and skills with your team to establish high-performance standards.
Employee performance management and development are also key aspects of this role. You will directly manage sales representatives, establish individual performance goals, hire and train new reps, and conduct meaningful employee evaluations. Your goal is to create a positive and productive work environment, coaching and enabling reps to achieve their goals and solve problems effectively.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A track record of sales success, with experience as a sales representative and leader
- Valid G-class license
- Deep working knowledge of full sales cycle activities
- Building products experience
- Proficiency in Salesforce
- Post-secondary education in business or management
- Strong leadership skills and excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
We offer an estimated salary of $85,000-$110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
