Job Title: Human Resources Manager

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to join our team at Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group Ltd. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HR strategies that align with the company's goals.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the HR department, including staff consultation and grievance procedures, project implementation, and data analysis.

You will also be responsible for coordinating the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals, reviewing HR projects to assure compliance with laws and regulations, and training staff. Additionally, you will establish and implement policies and procedures, manage contracts, and oversee the development of communication strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Assign projects to subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labour relations, and employee relations
  • Coordinate the activities of the HR department to ensure they meet the organization's goals
  • Review HR projects to assure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Train staff
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures
  • Manage contracts
  • Manage training and development strategies
  • Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
  • Oversee the development of communication strategies
  • Oversee the preparation of reports
  • Respond to employee questions and complaints
  • Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Implement data, software, and hardware security procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
