Clinical Trials Budget Specialist Job Summary

We are seeking an highly skilled Clinical Trials Budget Specialist to join our Budget and Contract Department at Probity Medical Research Inc. in Waterloo Region. As a Clinical Trials Budget Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the administrative tasks of our department. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in ensuring the successful negotiation of budgets and programming of payment sheets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Negotiate budgets from the start of a study and review budget amendments
  2. Program and adjust Excel documents for budget amendments and maintain a list of active studies for payments
  3. Prioritize new studies to be negotiated and programmed on Excel and answer programming, budget, and invoicing questions as required
  4. Create and program Excel Tracking Logs and corresponding Payment Sheets

Requirements:

  • 4-year degree or college diploma in business or science background, or equivalent
  • 1-2 years' administrative and Excel work experience
  • Highly proficient Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Knowledge of Docu Sign and PDF software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential and sensitive documents
