The ideal candidate has a strong background in labor law, with at least 3 years of experience providing legal advice and collective agreement interpretation. A Bachelor of Laws (LLB/JD) degree is required.
Your key responsibilities include assessing grievances and acting as legal counsel at labor arbitrations and other forms of dispute resolution. You will also represent us before the Labour Board and occasionally the courts, and act as lead negotiator for collective bargaining and essential services negotiation.
We offer competitive compensation and benefits, including $45.81 hourly salary, health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
