About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Wealth Management Specialist to join our team at TD Bank in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a wealth advisory practice, creating customized wealth plans, and providing goals-based wealth advice and investment solutions to high net worth individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a business plan to identify and develop relationships with potential clients and external referral sources to build your client base and market share.
  • Develop your wealth planning discovery skills and leverage TD's Discovery and Financial Planning tools to produce customized wealth plans that address clients' wealth considerations.
  • Provide robust reporting, re-discovery, and ongoing advice and service to manage ongoing client relationships.
  • Collaborate with other areas of TD to deliver a One TD approach and legendary client experience.
  • Actively promote the TD Wealth brand within your community through participation and leadership in business and volunteer activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of and comply with TD Wealth and industry requirements, policies, procedures, controls, codes, and guidelines of conduct, service standards, securities laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education & Experience

You will need:

  • An undergraduate degree.
  • Two years' experience in the investment industry, particularly discretionary investment management.
  • CFA or CIM certification, or working towards the CFA designation.
  • An insurance license required within one year.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is $70,000 - $100,000 CAD per annum. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual who wants to make a real impact in the world of wealth management.
