HR Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking an HR Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Days Inn Vancouver Airport.
About the Role- The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and collecting and screening applicants.
- They will also advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, review candidate inventories, contact potential applicants to arrange interviews, and recruit graduates of colleges, universities and other educational institutions.
- In addition, they will co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates, notify applicants of results of the selection process, and prepare job offers.
- Other responsibilities include advising managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures, organizing staff consultation and grievance procedures, negotiating settlements of appeals and disputes, and co-ordinating termination of employment process.
- The HR Recruitment Specialist will also determine eligibility to entitlements, arrange staff training, and supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing and record-keeping duties.
- This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week.
- The language of work is English.
The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $45,000 - $60,000 based on industry standards.
