Job Summary

The People Operations Partner serves as a strategic advisor to operational leadership teams, providing guidance and advice on workplace investigations, payroll queries, employee relations, policy interpretation, and employment law. This role utilizes system data and partners with internal teams to gather information, supporting operational teams in making informed decisions with minimal impact on employees.

Key Responsibilities

Provides consulting services to management on HR policies and procedures.
Offers guidance to employees and managers for improved business performance and engagement.
Partners with HR associates and employees to resolve employee relations issues and concerns.
Investigates internal and external complaints, and employee relations issues up to management level.
Conducts exit interviews and provides trend analysis reports to management.
Develops action plans to comply with local laws and creates applicable reports.
Facilitates and follows up on the performance review process, including coaching towards the right approach for goal deployment, objective setting, self-evaluation, and manager evaluations.
Drives the performance development process, including succession analysis, development planning, and replacement planning, as well as taking a leading role in talent acquisition for key roles.
Ensures compensation and benefit programs are administered in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Assists in the coordination of merit increase process, promotions, market adjustments, and other salary-related needs with senior leaders based on processes, tools, and timing provided.
Drives strategic staffing needs/support within the business.
Engages with HR associates and hiring managers to solve for difficult/unique recruitment challenges.
Actively identifies gaps, proposes, and implements changes necessary to cover risks.
Provides support on organizational initiatives and builds on current best practices within the regions to drive HR integration synergies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred and 6 years of relevant experience.
In lieu of degree, high school diploma or GED and 8+ years of HR generalist/business partner experience.
Proficient in Microsoft office applications and prior experience in HRIS systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to handle employee relations issues and coaching at all levels.
Must be detail-oriented, possess a high degree of accuracy, and work well under pressure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience with best practices in workplace investigations relating to misconduct.
Knowledge and experience with strategic advising on policies, processes, and employment law.
Customer service-driven.
Strong team player.

Working Conditions

The general office environment is generally favorable, with adequate lighting and temperature, and no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education/training, and a candidate's work experience.
