About the Opportunity
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) are seeking a Psychiatrist to provide clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient program as part of the Forensic Division, Complex Care and Recovery Program. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in teaching and research activities, and will be eligible for a full-time clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer, Assistant, Associate or full Professor at the University of Toronto.

Requirements
The successful applicant must hold an MD degree, be Board certified or Board Eligible in Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Specialty, and be eligible for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The position requires an individual who has additional training or equivalent experience as well as a record of excellence in scholarship.
About the Team
The Forensic Service at CAMH is a growing and vibrant clinical program of over 190 inpatient beds, court and community programs, a sexual behaviors program and a correction-based mental health service. The successful candidate will join a collegial team of over 25 psychiatrists and will provide exemplary team-based psychiatric care for people with acute or persisting mental illness, including concurrent substance use disorders.
