Academic Psychiatrist Leader

We are seeking a highly accomplished academic psychiatrist to lead our Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto. As the Department Head and Program Medical Director, you will be responsible for advancing clinical care, research, and education in mental health at a world-class level.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic and operational leadership in advancing mental health care at UHN and increasing collaborative clinical and academic initiatives with CAMH.
- Work within UHN's Program Matrix model, providing leadership in concert with a Clinical Vice President, as well as other Program Medical Directors and Clinical Directors.
- Have primary responsibility for quality and safety in the Centre for Mental Health and dyadic responsibility with the Clinical Vice-President/Clinical Director for Finances and clinical operations.
- Attend the CAMH Clinical Executive and be responsible for leading integration efforts related to clinical care, education, and research in mental health across CAMH and UHN.

Requirements- MD and FRCPC or equivalent qualifications.
- Licensure in Ontario.
- Experience in leading complex academic health sciences centers.
