About the Opportunity
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) are seeking a Clinical Academic Psychiatrist to join their Forensic Division. This is an exciting opportunity for a psychiatrist to provide clinical care in the inpatient and outpatient program, as well as engage in teaching and research activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care to patients in the inpatient and outpatient programs
- Teach and mentor undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as forensic psychiatry subspecialty residents and fellows
- Conduct research in the field of forensic psychiatry
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical programs and services
Requirements
- MD degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Specialty
- Eligibility for medical licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Additional training or equivalent experience in forensic psychiatry
