Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Wayne Nichols Insurance & Financial Services Ltd. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the servicing of our products and services, as well as assisting our advisors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to our advisors and management team, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence.
  • Assist with the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, mailings, and other duties as required.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for process improvements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a financial services or insurance industry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
