Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 3222926 Nova Scotia Ltd. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for planning and executing menus, estimating food requirements, and supervising kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
  • Estimate food requirements and manage inventory to minimize waste
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality dishes
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards
  • Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • 1-7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 35-40 hours of work per week
