About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Allwood Carpentry Manufacturing. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Event Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating seminars, conferences, and other events.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
  • Office Management: Establish and maintain office procedures and routines, including scheduling appointments and managing inventory.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including greeting visitors and directing them to contacts or service areas.
  • Documentation: Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in an administrative role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
Working Conditions
