Job Title: Senior Human Resources Advisor

Rise Air is seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Resources Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our human resources strategies, programs, and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Retention:
    • Develop position descriptions and ensure timely review and update.
    • Collaborate with the Director and Advisor to ensure compliance with federal legislation pertaining to employment equity programs, data collection, and reporting.
    • Participate in the recruitment of new hires, including screening, interviewing, testing, selection, offer, and onboarding.
  • Total Compensation:
    • Administer a job evaluation process and rationale for placement of jobs for salary purposes.
    • Analyze changes to job descriptions to determine whether reassessment of the position is appropriate and report to the Director and CHRO with respect to requests for reassessment.
  • Employee and Labour Relations:
    • Conduct regular research to ensure human resources policies, guidelines, and processes/practices comply with relevant legislation and regulations.
    • Analyze and anticipate changes to legislation and advise human resources management on needed actions.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Provide analytical support and data analysis on trends, projects.
    • Develop standard and ad hoc reports, templates, and dashboards that support required metrics.
Requirements:
  • Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position include an undergraduate degree with a major focus in human resources or organizational behaviour, or other post-secondary education in human resource management combined with a minimum 6-7 years of generalist human resources experience.
  • CPHR designation and aviation experience is an asset.
