We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating X-ray, radiographic, and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain X-ray, radiographic, and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
- Record and process results of procedures, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Record and process patient data, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) or equivalent.
- Provincial or territorial association certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
