We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Associate to join our team at RAMADA HOTEL. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Process group arrivals and departures, taking into account special requests and preferences.
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide guests with information on hotel facilities and services, including dining options, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying, as needed.
  • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff, ensuring prompt and efficient communication.
  • Assist guests with special needs, providing additional support and services as required.
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls, ensuring timely and courteous service.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in the hotel industry an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and a focus on delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a standing position.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a focus on delivering results in a timely and efficient manner.
