The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations, handling guest arrivals and departures, processing room reservations, and providing hotel information. They will also be expected to handle customer inquiries, respond to guest requests, and maintain accurate records of hotel transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk Duties:
- Register arriving guests and assign rooms with precision and attention to detail
- Process group arrivals and departures with minimal disruption to the hotel's operations
- Take, cancel, and change room reservations according to hotel policies and procedures
- Provide detailed information on hotel facilities and services to guests
- Assist guests with special needs and provide personalized support
- Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments with accuracy and efficiency
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms with high standards of integrity
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments with up-to-date information
- Perform clerical duties such as faxing, filing, and photocopying with precision and speed
