Conference and Events Coordinator

JAG Hotel is seeking an experienced Conference and Events Manager to oversee the planning and execution of events and conferences held at the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and expectations, and providing personalized service throughout the planning and execution phases.
- Event Management: Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including room setups, AV requirements, catering, and accommodations.
- Communication: Communicate with clients to ensure details for events are accurate and complete on a timely basis.
- Revenue Maximization: Develop and implement creative and innovative event designs and execution strategies to maximize hotel revenue and utilization.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other employees to ensure events progress seamlessly.
Requirements:
- Event Planning Experience: Extensive experience in event planning in a multi-function facility.
- Customer Service: Must be customer service oriented and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and have strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in hotel/hospitality management or event planning, Business Administration, or a related field is an asset.
